Ashley's Professional & Academic Background

Hello! I’m Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at the Pottstown office of Compass Counseling and Associates. I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023. Prior to that, I attended Liberty University for my Bachelor's in Psychology.

 

My therapy style incorporates person-centered therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. At request, I provide faith-based counseling through a Christian worldview.

 

I have 3 years of experience, primarily working with teens and adults. I have experience working with anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, ADHD, communication issues, and trauma. My specialization is working with anxiety disorders. I first focus on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I’ll gather information to get a holistic view of your life experiences. We will work together to create an individualized treatment plan for your goals. Throughout your therapy journey, we will explore triggers and identify the connection among negative thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors.
