Erin Duvinski, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Pottstown
In Erin's Own Words...
"I became a therapist because there are times in life that people need someone to talk to or work through things. Life is hard and sometimes we need an unbiased person to listen to what is going on and help us make the changes we want to make. I love hearing about clients taking the steps they need to improve their lives so that they are on the most fulfilling path as possible".
Erin's Professional & Academic Background
Erin graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2021 from Kutztown University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor a Licensed Professional Counselor who works extensively with adults in varying modalities and settings. She started out at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation and most recently worked at a community mental health practice in the Mental Health, Intensive Outpatient, and Drug and Alcohol Programs. She also has a large amount of experience providing telehealth services.
Erin has experience with anxiety, depression and substance use disorders. She provides a safe and nurturing environment to help build rapport, collaborate, and achieve one’s recovery goals. She mostly uses Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but integrates other techniques, depending on the client’s needs. Erin is a firm believer of a strong therapeutic relationship being important to healing. She adopts the framework that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interrelated and encourages her clients to explore this connection. She aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free space for self-exploration.
Erin enjoys spending time with her family (and dog, Cayman). She likes making art and crafts. She is an avid reader who is always on the lookout for a good book.
