Tyler Ballinger, MPH
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Pottstown Office
In Tyler's Own Words...
"I am passionate about working with families as a whole. One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a therapist is providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals and families feel heard and understood as they begin their healing journey and work through generational and childhood trauma. I strive to build trust with each individual by listening with empathy and intention, creating an environment where they feel safe to share their experiences. My approach is rooted in understanding rather than judgment and meeting individuals where they are in their journey."
Tyler's Professional & Academic Background
Tyler's personal and professional experiences have strengthened her ability to connect with diverse populations, allowing her to build meaningful relationships and truly love the work that she does. In addition, Tyler has worked as a family-based therapist for 6 years. She specialized in working collaboratively with children, adolescents, and their families to address emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges within the home environment. She provides therapeutic interventions that strengthen communication, improve family dynamics, and support healthy functioning across all members of the family system. As a family-based therapist, she also takes a holistic approach, recognizing that individual concerns are often interconnected with family patterns. Tyler helps to empower caregivers with effective strategies to manage behaviors, build structure, and foster emotional well-being. Through consistent engagement, crisis support, and skill-building, she helps families create sustainable change and a more stable, supportive home environment.
