Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Pottstown
In Zorina's Own Words...
"My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard,
understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges at their own pace."
Zorina's Professional & Academic Background
Hi there! I’m Zorina, and from a young age, I always knew I wanted to become a
therapist. I’ve always wanted to be someone who helps others grow, heal, and move
toward healthier, more fulfilling versions of themselves. I truly believe we all have the
capacity for change when we begin to recognize what is no longer working for us and
feel ready to take steps forward.
In therapy, I’ll sit with you through the hard moments. Sometimes that may look like
silence, processing something painful, or finding moments of laughter when things feel
heavy. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection
rather than just a clinical space.
I am a personable and relationally focused therapist who values authenticity,
collaboration, and meeting people where they are. I have experience working with
individuals across the lifespan and deeply care about supporting people through
hardship, uncertainty, and the everyday ups and downs of life.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a minor in
Sociology. During my final year, I completed an internship in a juvenile detention center.
I later earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown
University of Pennsylvania, where I completed my internship in an outpatient community
mental health setting.
Currently, I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) working toward full
licensure. My experience includes office-based therapy, mobile therapy, and behavioral
consultation work within community settings.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior
Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I value collaboration in the therapeutic
process and tailor treatment to what feels most meaningful, supportive, and authentic
for each individual. I also believe there is room for humor, lightness, and connection in
therapy, as those moments can be healing too.
